For an up-and-coming high-end audio brand, Artefakta needed to communicate luxury audio without coming across as cold or corporate. Here's how I solved that: Clear typography that blends approachability and technical know-how with elegance and simplicity, to let the product shine. There were many different solutions possible for the issue, but we decided to lean more towards the founder's personal, clear aesthetic. Brand design is imperative for Artefakta, and provides special graphic easter eggs, details showing a lot of thought went into the whole product conception, and clarity for the client, but it is not its main attraction.
That job falls to the design of the systems themselves, material choices, and high-quality cabinetry and electronic tinkering to perfection. Visual Identity is grounded, open, and technically sound; Artefakta walks their talk. So, colours are select and few. Those that do make it are calm and reminiscent of more established technologies and their visual languages, think stereo systems from the 80's and their user manuals. Artefakta's identity speaks the language of modern technology and conveys the stability of slow and tailored craft work. Therefore, all web layouts have a simple yet specific grid system in place, social media presence is curated and has a more informational character to it rather than intimate.
As the brand evolves, I also support the brand with photography, production-oriented design decisions, including labeling systems, serial number structures, and scalable templates for future product lines. The project is continuously refined to ensure consistency and manufacturability across all touchpoints.

Identity systems, visual storytelling, and cultural-aesthetic research are currently my areas of interest. Viewing the design process not only as a service, but as a form of creation through empathy and discovery. My job is to bridge the mundane with the aesthetic and help translate information that can at first only be felt into information that can be seen, interacted with, and understood.
